A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after being hit by a motorbike.

The incident happened at around 6.15pm in St Osyth Road, Clacton.

Both the male driver of the motorbike and the pedestrian were treated by paramedics. The pedestrian has been taken to hospital for further assessment.

The road was closed between the Ford Road and Astley Road junctions for almost two hours, reopening at around 8pm.
