A MAN has been airlifted to hospital with serious chest injuries after a two-vehicle smash on the A12.
A green Jaguar X-Type collided with a Suzuki Vitara near Wangford around 10.43am on Wednesday.
A spokesperson from the East Anglian Air Ambulance said a man - believed to be in his 50s -had been airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
The doctor and paramedic onboard treated the man for serious chest injuries but his condition has beeen described as stable.
Police have now re-opened the southbound A12 and the B1126.
