A car was involved in a crash with a lorry near RAF Mildenhall

A MAN was cut free from a car after it was involved in a crash with a lorry near RAF Mildenhall.

The smash - between a blue DAF truck and a red Nissan - happened in West Row Road, Mildenhall, around 6.45am.

Fire crews used specialist cutting equipment to free a man from the car.

Police said his injuries are not believed to be serious.
