Delays are expected to continue as fuel and chicken manure is cleared away from an overturned lorry on an A12 roundabout.
The A12 near Woodbridge was re-opened late yesterday afternoon after a lorry carrying chicken litter overturned.
But the Melton Hill roundabout, where the incident took place at about 1.30pm, was still being cleaned and re-assessed earlier today.
A police spokesman said he expected the roundabout to be closed for motorists travelling on the northbound carriageway trying to go to Melton until mid-morning.
Suffolk police received reports at about 1.40pm that a lorry had overturned yesterday, leaving the diesel and chicken litter in the road.
Around 21 tonnes of manure and a large quantity of diesel spilt onto the road and motorists faced delays as a result.
