Walsham le Willows: Firefighters tackle blaze in cellar of listed building

Three fires crews went to a fire in the cellar of a listed building in Walsham Le Willows this morning.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called about the blaze at a house on The Causeway shortly before 8.45am

Crews from Ixworth, Bury St Edmunds and Thetford were mobilised to the village.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus brought the fire under control just after 10am.

One crew has stayed at the scene to monitor the situation.
