Suffolk County Council’s gritters have been treating A and B roads, followed by bus routes and other main roads, since 2pm today.

Gritters will also be at the council’s road salt depots to grit roads throughout the night if it is necessary.

It is expected that two inches could settle on top of the icy roads and pavements that have been left in a treacherous condition following the weekend’s snow storms.
