RUBBISH collection services in Mid Suffolk and Babergh districts have been suspended due to the adverse weather conditions.
Early morning site inspections at the Stowmarket and Sudbury deports led to the cancellation of all waste collections today.
The situation will be reviewed during the day and again tomorrow morning.
A spokesman for the two councils said: “We are sorry for the disruption to our normal service, but ask if you could please put your bins out as usual and we will attempt to clear all outstanding collections as soon as the weather improves.”
If residents need extra capacity, call the refuse helpline on 0845 606 6045.

Totally agree with you Paul. Our recycle was put out for Friday and still sits there and we didn't even get the snow then. I am so glad the gritter drivers didn't have the same attitude.

You must be joking!!! Our black bin has been out since it was due to be collected last Thursday morning, and it still stands there full, and we now have 3 rotting bags in the house cos of nowhere to put them. Seems to us that service was cancelled last week not just today!
