Police are warning people to be vigilant after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman from West Bergholt on two separate occasions.

On December 29 around 12.30pm, the man committed the act in front of the woman in Nayland Road, near to Westwood Park, before getting back into a small dirty black hatchback car.

The man had also done the same thing on September 30 when the woman was in London Road.

He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, in his early to mid 20s with dirty blonde short hair and blue eyes. He was clean shaven with quite ‘pink’ skin and is described as wearing washed black jogging bottoms and a dark or white hooded top.

Pc Dan Smith said: “I would urge the public, especially women, to be cautious in this area and contact me if they have any information or have been a victim themselves.”

Police are arranging for an Efit to be produced but in the meantime if anyone recognises the man from the description or has any other information, they are urged to call Pc Smith at Colchester Police Station on 101.
