West Suffolk College students have been rewarded for their hard work at a Celebration of Achievement Gala Dinner.
Principal Dr Nikos Savvas told students, family, friends, sponsors and staff that the college has recently won a number of awards and accolades
Dr Savvas said: “However this is not just a reflection of the hard work of our staff; more importantly it is thanks to the talent and tenacity of our wonderful students.
“We nurture innovative thinking and provide as many opportunities as possible to ensure students leave here broad minded, inquisitive and fully equipped for the future. However, taking advantage of all these opportunities and working hard is all down to them.”
There were 57 winners of awards sponsored by local businesses. Sabrina Mitchell, from Ipswich, won Standout Student of the Year and Lewis Sturman, from Stowmarket won Standout Apprentice of the Year.
