West Suffolk: Firefighters called to vehicle fires in Bury St Edmunds and Lakenheath

Two vehicle fires were extinguished this afternoon in the west of the county.

One crew from Mildenhall attended a van fire in Caudle Avenue, Lakenheath at 12.19pm.

They found the van well alight and used two hosereels to put it out while wearing breathing gear. The fire was out by 12.40pm.

At 2.21pm a crew from Bury St Edmunds was called to Cumberland Avenue in the town for a motorcycle fire.

They used one hosereel to extinguish the blaze by 2.33pm.
