West Mersea: Woman gets finger trapped in plug hole

A FIRE crew in Essex has come to the aid of a woman after her finger became stuck in a plug hole.
Firefighters from West Mersea attended the incident at a property in Empress Avenue just after 5.30pm.

So slow the journalist decided against discovering whether the drama had a successful conclusion. Perhaps the finger is still in the hole. No doubt we'll never know. Can't fault the accuracy of the headline, however. Smartly and rewardingly written.
