POLICE are appealing for information after two pigs were stolen from a field.

The theft happened from a field alongside the B1125 at Westleton, near Leiston, between 9pm on Sunday and 8am today.

It is thought the pigs – each weighing around 100kg – were killed before being dragged from the field, not far from the Hinton five ways junction, and loaded into a vehicle.
