Wintry spell could bring snow showers to East Anglia this week

Forecasters have predicted a period of low pressure will hit the UK at the end of the week – leaving some parts of the region with a sprinkling of snow.
A spokesman for Weatherquest said we should watch out for wintry spells in central and western parts of Suffolk and Essex.
“It’s likely to be pretty chilly over the weekend, but the period that is particularly interesting to us is on Thursday and Friday. It’s too early to say whether we will definitely get snow, but there is a chance some rain showers will turn wintry. “On the east coast though, it’s more likely to fall as sleet.”
Temperatures are likely to remain in single figures during the day, with minus temperatures creating frosts overnight.
