Witnesses sought after man reports being shot at in Clacton

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses after a man reported being shot at in Clacton.

The incident was reported to have taken place on Beach Road on November 15 at around 8.35pm.

Officers later located two cars and arrested their occupants in relation to the incident. .

A 24-year-old man, a 27 year-old-man and a 28 year-old-man all from London were arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms.

A 23-year-old man from Clacton and a 26 year-old woman from Great Bentley were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of firearms.

All five people remain in custody.

Police believe that the attack was targeted and that there no further risk to the public.
