Wivenhoe: Fire crews release three people trapped by crash

FIREFIGHTERS released three people trapped following a two-vehicle crash in Wivenhoe, Essex this evening.

One crew from Wivenhoe and one crew from Colchester were called to the incident in Alresford Road, Wivenhoe at 5.55pm.

Crews used two sets of hydraulic cutting equipment to released the trapped people.

All those involved had been released by 7.18pm.
