Woman killed in Barnham crash named as Helen Lovegrove, 47, from Thetford

Police have named a woman killed in a collision on a Suffolk road, near Thetford, as 47-year-old Helen Lovegrove.

The crash happened on the A134 at Barnham on Wednesday morning.

Helen Lovegrove, of Magdalen Street, Thetford, was a passenger in a Skoda Octavia which collided with a Vauxhall Corsa about 10.45am on Wednesday, May 17.

A woman in her early 20s, from the Dereham area, who was the driver of the Corsa, remains in a serious condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital after suffering leg and internal injuries in the crash.

A man driving the Skoda, in his 50s and from the Thetford area, received treatment at the West Suffolk Hospital.

Police are continuing to ask anyone who saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision, or the crash itself, to call the serious collision investigation team at Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD number 129 of Wednesday, May 17.
