A man was injured after falling and being dragged by a horse in Woodbridge.

Paramedics were called at 6.50pm yesterday to Sutton Road where a rapid response car, ambulance and the Essex Air Ambulance were dispatched.

An ambulance spokesperson said: “We treated a man in his 40s who suffered injuries to his chest and abdomen. He was conveyed by land to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”
