One lane of the A14 eastbound had to be closed following a single-vehicle accident involving a car towing a trailer.

The accident happened at around 1.30pm this afternoon, between Junction 47 (Woolpit) and Junction 48 (Stowmarket).

No one was injured in the crash and no other vehicles were involved.
