• Pier PR & Marketing
Suffolk agency Pier PR & Marketing has added three new members to its team after a year of growth and new business wins.
The Felixstowe-based agency has appointed Steph Smith as account director, Tom Harvey as account manager and Lisa Smith as office manager to support an expanding client base.
Managing director Kate Bowden Smith said: “Steph and Tom are valuable additions to our senior team and with Lisa’s experience and expert support, Pier is in a strong position to continue its growth and cement our position as one of the region’s top PR agencies.”
Steph Smith has more than 25 years’ experience with leading PR agencies and more than a decade providing communications consultancy.
Account manager Mr Harvey has worked with tech, science, engineering and education clients on their PR and social strategies at agencies in London and Birmingham, having trained as a journalist.
Lisa Smith has joined the Pier team in a newly-created role to oversee Pier’s internal processes. She has 15 years of customer service management and project coordination experience and will work to develop Pier’s environmental efficiency.
Pier PR & Marketing is a member of the Future50 group of exciting companies in the region, and has clients including ScottishPower Renewables, the East of England Co-op, Kerry Foods and Spirit Yachts.
• Birketts
Cameron Barlow has joined Birketts as a legal director in its commercial property team.
He will work alongside more than 100 property specialists in the team, and brings more than 15 years’ experience, including of acquisitions and disposals, financings, leasing, management work, joint ventures and developments.
Partner Melissa Loucas said Mr Barlow was “a tremendous addition to the team”. He will support colleagues across Birketts’ four East Anglian offices.
• AF (Anglia Farmers) Group
The AF (Anglia Farmers) Group has appointed Keith Snape to oversee the growth of its livestock feed business.
Mr Snape takes up the newly created role of Feed General Manager and brings over 30 years’ experience working in the agricultural industry for some of its biggest names.
He will be tasked with improving the East Anglian-based business’s reach across the country and will be based in its new Midlands office, when it opens later this year.
He said: “The focus will be on communication and I’m keen to engage with members on a one-to-one basis and build confidence in AF’s ability to deliver. Such a pro-active approach is vital if we are to have a full understanding of member needs and requirements. It’s important we provide clarity on what we can offer.”
AF Group chief executive Jon Duffy said: “This newly created role is important in helping grow our business on behalf of our members, enabling AF to provide an improved livestock feed service that covers the length and breadth of the country.”
• Prettys
Law firm Prettys has announced three new appointments to the real estate team.
Fiona Galloway is an experienced commercial property lawyer and has expertise in managing property transactions, dispute resolution, shipping matters and commodities trading.
Jennifer Rayner has joined the firm after qualifying in 2017 and has already built up expertise in matters concerned with the purchase and sale of land, warehouses as well as public houses.
Rujina Begum has been appointed as a para-legal and has been appointed to assist the residential property team in offering conveyancing as well as personal support to clients.

Ellisons Solicitors has appointed Ian Seeley to its expanding dispute resolution team.
He has more than a decade’s experience representing all parties in construction-related disputes, and advising upon dispute avoidance tactics, with dispute values ranging from £10,000 to over £2m
He also has more than 20 years’ experience in regulatory law, advising and representing clients in regulatory investigations and prosecutions by the police, HSE, Environment Agency, Natural England and local authorities, the Gangmaster Licensing Authority and others.
