Joe Garner turned home to finish off a superb Ipswich Town move as the Blues rescued a draw at Bolton.

The striker scored his ninth of the season as he finished a move which involved Martyn Waghorn, Stephen Gleeson, Bersant Celina and David McGoldrick, which saw the Blues earn a draw on a frustrating afternoon.

Neither side were able to break the deadlock in the first half, as both contrived to give the ball away time and time again.

But Gary Madine put the hosts ahead in the 53rd minute, as he met Josh Vela’s flick from an Antonee Robinson cross to stab into the back of the net.

Ipswich eventually found their feet and, when Garner found the net, it set up a frenetic finish in which Waghorn struck the post.
