Hunt, 18, will go into the Iron squad for today’s Blue Square Bet Premier clash at Grimsby Town.

The youngster was a part of the Hammers’ development squad that were losing 4-0 to Iron in a friendly, earlier in the season, before floodlight failure brought a premature end to proceedings.

He has made one substitute appeance for United’s FA Premier League Under-21 team this season.
