Brian Owen returns to Colchester United as chief recruitment scout

COLCHESTER boss Joe Dunne today announced U’s veteran Brian Owen has returned to the club as chief recruitment scout.

Owen, who played for the U’s from 1970 to 1973, re-joined the club in 1993 and served as a coach and scout until he departed in 2009.

He has since been working as the London scout for Hibernian.
