CHRIS BRAMMER shares his Ipswich Town ratings from the Blues’ 2-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday.

33. BARTOSZ BIALKOWSKI - 7

Shot-stopping ability was top-class yesterday, as Brentford threatened in the first half, but his distribution wasn’t always the best.

2. DOMINIC IORFA - 6

Lung-bursting runs are quickly making him a fans’ favourite with supporters. Back to the wall against Ollie Watkins for much of the first half though.

12. JORDAN SPENCE - 6

Comfortable on the ball for the most part and struck up a good understanding with Jonas Knudsen.

3. JONAS KNUDSEN - 7

Mr Reliable at the present time. Made a couple of good first-half interceptions.

30. MYLES KENLOCK - 8

Much-improved performance after his shaky 45 minutes at Barnsley. Enjoyed a good battle with Jozefzoon who was direct as opposed to Barnsley’s Adam Hammill, who was tricky with quick feet.

9. MARTYN WAGHORN - 7

Only needed one chance to score. Played on the right of midfield but found himself on the left of the six-yard box to score Town’s opener.

8. COLE SKUSE - 7

Another solid midfield performance from Town’s stand-in skipper. So much of his work goes unnoticed but is equally so crucial.

18. GRANT WARD - 6

Set up Town’s second goal, but was quieter than he has been so far this season.

20. FREDDIE SEARS - 6

Real team player, but playing out wide in midfield rarely got him in goalscoring positions. On the one occasion he did find himself bearing down on goal, he found himself a little in two minds and was tackled.

10. DAVID McGOLDRICK - 8

Thriving at the moment as Town’s talisman. Always wanted the ball, even if that meant dropping back to just in front of the back four at times. Twinkle toes and determination set up Waghorn’s all-important opener and forced corner that led to second.

14. JOE GARNER - 7

Scored again and was a nuisance all afternoon, never giving the Brentford back-line a minute. Proper old-fashioned centre-forward who can be cute at times and gives as good as he gets.

Neat and tidy on the ball after his introduction for Waghorn, on 68 minutes.

17. DANNY ROWE (For Sears, 89) - N/A
