Alumni students returned to their former college to mark the beginning of the new sporting season with a series of friendly matches.

Framlingham College welcomed around 30 former pupils to take part in a triangular hockey tournament against the current boys’ team and a netball match against the girls.

Co-ordinator Jane Easey said: “Both events were played in fine spirit and enjoyed by everyone who took part.

“At Framlingham we are grateful to all of our alumni who regularly return to the college from far and wide to both play and support these events.”

The returning students, or Old Framlinghamians as they are known, included recent graduates through to those in their early 30s, who had travelled from as far as London to take part.

The college also hosts regular cricket tournaments and golf matches for former students. Former students can contact Ms Easey on 01728 72378 to find out more.
