Former Rangers and Blackpool defender Kirk Broadfoot and Wycombe Wanderers winger Joel Grant are the two names thought to be close to making a switch to Suffolk.

Grant, who can play on the wing or in attack, is out of contract following two successful seasons at Adams Park, while Broadfoot, who can play at centre-back and right-back, made over 30 appearances for Blackpool last season after leaving Rangers.

Broadfoot, who made his name at St Mirren, has four international caps for Scotland, while Grant is a Jamaica Under-20 international who scored 14 goals in 68 games for the Chairboys.

  • The way Blackpool let goals in last season, Broadfoot looks a perfect player to sign and we all know what super duper Wycombe are, oh yes duds!!! Clown mccarthy doing his worst yet again lol

  • Great Heavens! Exactly as Steroopid and Snott predicted - Wolves rejects. Except, hang on, they're not? Some mystery there, then.

  • AT LEAST WE ARE GETTING SOME PLAYERS IN EARLY AND HOPE THE NEXT ONE'S GIVE US MORE DEPTH. AS FOR SHUTING THE GOONS WE CAN ONLY HOPE ON ((THAT)) SAD POSTER'S THAT THEY ARE.

  • We still need another keeper. Other than that things looking good. Nice playing Reading and QPR early in the season whist they are still moaning internally. Unfortunately I won't be able to explain going to Doncaster on Boxing Day and will have to put up with the mother in law.
