NEW Ipswich Town joint-director Ian Milne will address fans at a question and answer session on Saturday.

Milne will be joined by two players at the Mulberry Tree Pub, on Woodbridge Road – between 12.15pm-1pm – prior to the Championship home game against Bolton Wanderers.

The event is being held as part of the Supporters Club’s annual Supporters Day and Milne, along with two of the current squad will be on hand to talk to fans, sign autographs and have their photographs taken.

After the game, there will be further events in Legends, in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand, which will have its opening hours extended until 7pm. There, supporters will be able to meet a current first-team player plus some former stars for autographs.

Further details are available on www.itfcsupporters.co.uk and from Liz Edwards on 07968 876504 or itsc78@btinternet.com

  • Sort of sums up the dire state of affairs at the comedy comdey club rather neatly when a part-time half a CEO who admitted he hadn't a clue what was going on at the club after FIVE years sitting on the board rubber stamping the systematic asset stripping turns up at a pub to 'meet the fans' with two unamed and presumably loaned in or soon to be released duds find the time in their busy schedule to do the same.

  • Why isn't the chubby guy showing up? Or the man with a bag over his head? A photograph of Mr Milne is not high on my list of ambitions. Nor is an autograph of a borrowed, average player. So, it's apologies from me.
