I want to complain about this content:
The trouble with ME being a recluse is that we just do not know what his intentions for the club are. We heard much from Clegg re his committment & these sentiments were endorsed by various managers. However in the absence of direct quotes from the man there will always be speculation about his true motives.Anybody who lives in a tax haven leaves themselves open to suggestions that the ownership of the club may have similar benefits & this together apparent asset stripping makes supporters uneasy. We do not even know the full extent of the debt or how this is to be repayed ????? I think most are not gullible enough to believe the original suggestions that finance was not merely provided as some sort of benevolent loan only to be repaid in the event of promotion to the Premiership. It may of course be that ME's intentions are entirely honourable but the silence he maintains merely adds to the confusion & apprehension amongst supporters. There have always been those who say ME saved us from administration & that we are lucky to have such a rich benefactor - but while his intentions are shrouded in the same mystery as his own appearance we can none of us be sure. Like most supporters I an anxious about the long term viability of the club - & surely it should be incumbent upon the owner to make clear his reasons for taking over the club - his vision for the future & more importantly how we are going to manage an ever spiralling debt. Only then will supporters be able to make an informed judgement on ME & his stewardship of their club.
