The Ipswich Witches’ clash with the Berwick Bandits tonight at Foxhall Stadium has been called off due to heavy rain.

The Witches were due to host the Bandits looking to consolidate their place in the play-off spots but after weeks of hot weather the heavens have opened.

The rain is scheduled to continue throughout the day, leaving Witches top brass no choice but to postpone.

The team are next scheduled to be in action a week today, Augyst 16, when they host Glasgow.

Kayden Jackson is hoping his goal in Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw with Brentford is the first of many as he continues to get to grips with the challenge of the Championship.
