Children had fun at a spooky half-term theatre workshop.
Around 80 youngsters, members of Stowmarket and Newmarket’s bRAVO Theatre groups, came together for the Halloween event. They started off with a workshop from Laura Phipps, a make-up artist who has worked on the Dr Who television series and the Harry Potter films.
This involved a Q&A session on her career and gave the children the opportunity to create cuts and bullet holes using make up. Anna Damigella, the principal of bRAVO, said: “It was a huge success, although very messy. The buzz and energy coming from the hall was electric.”
The planning for next year’s half-term workshop is already under way.
