The authority on records brings its new action-packed theatre show Officially Amazing Science Live to Ipswich’s Regent Theatre tomorrow.

Devised by the producers of Brainiac Live! and Science Museum Live on Tour, the interactive show explores the best, the worst, the weirdest and the most unbreakable world records ever attempted and the extraordinary talents in each and every one of us. It’s a fun face-fuelled peak at the science behind some of the most incredible Guinness World Records titles.

Each show takes the audience on a scientific journey of exploration and lifts the lid on the world we live in, answering big questions like how has the human body changed over time, how long can someone defy gravity, where is the UK’s loudest audience?

“Science touches on every aspect of record-breaking, from the physics of juggling to the chemistry of a soda fountain, which means that Guinness World Records Officially Amazing Science Live! is the perfect way to find the silly, super and sensational side of science,” says Guinness World Records editor-in-chief Craig Glenday.

“We’re really excited to bring the show to the Regent Theatre this weekend. This is Ipswich’s chance to perhaps even set a new Guinness World Record.”

The Officially Amazing show also gives you the chance to try real world records in-front of an official record adjudicator. You may not be the world’s tallest man, but have you got the loudest scream? Perhaps you’re the fastest to Duct Tape yourself to a wall.
