Top comedian Ricky Gervais will be appearing at the Ipswich Regent in September as part of his first UK stand-up tour in seven years.
The popular actor and comedian will be bringing his Humanity tour to the theatre on Monday, September 4, and Tuesday, September 5, with tickets on sale from 10am today.
Bryony Rudkin, Ipswich Borough Council deputy leader, said: “We advise people to hurry – tickets are not likely to be around for long. We’re delighted to welcome this show to the Regent – we do get some of the biggest names in comedy here, such as Jimmy Carr, Russell Brand and now Ricky Gervais.”
Ricky first shot to fame after starring in The Office, which he co-wrote and directed with Stephen Merchant, before going on to more success with extras, Life’s Too Short, and films The Invention of Lying and Ghost Town.
Tickets are available from the Ipswich Regent box office website here or by calling 01473 433100.
