East Anglian based Total Car Parks has been named as a finalist in two categories of this year’s British Parking Awards.

Total Car Parks, which now operates more than 40 car parks around the UK, will be competing for both Best New Car Park and Best Surface Car Park at the event.

Managing director Essy Eslamian said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be considered for not one, but two categories in what is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards for our industry.

“I have a great team behind me and I believe that being selected as a finalist genuinely reflects the hard work and commitment shown by each member of staff.” He continued, “It reaffirms to me that our work ethos and dedication to customer service is being recognised by the industry.”

Parking Review magazine will present the awards in a ceremony that will take place at the Lancaster Hotel, London on Friday, March 7 where Total Car Parks, now regarded as one of the UK’s most successful car park management businesses, will compete against much larger organisations such as Network Rail and the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham.

Established in 2008, Total Car Parks offers a range of services for businesses requiring car park management, either for existing car parks or newly acquired development land.

The company is based in Colchester and operates car parks locally in towns including Colchester, Ipswich, Braintree and Woodbridge as well as further afield in cities including Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and Leicester.

Mr Eslamian added: “Whether we win or not, being selected as a finalist in two categories makes me extremely proud to realise how much the company has progressed in just six years.

“These awards demonstrate to our customers how serious we are about the quality of service that we deliver to them and that we are continually striving to improve our business.”
