A food processing machinery manufacturer has grown its team after securing a series of contracts around the world.

Norwich-based Fabcon Food Systems, which specialises in machinery for the crisp and chip sector, has seen growth in sales across Europe and in the Middle East.

Since being founded in 2015 the team at its Delta Close headquarters has grown to 24 and the firm has been bolstered by a six-figure contract with Essex-based snack maker Fairfields Farm Crisps.

Fabcon has supplied frying, weighing, seasoning and packaging systems for its Colne Valley factory.

Trevor Howard, managing director of Fabcon, said: 'The contract win is another positive milestone for us as we reach the midway point through what has so far been a successful 2017.'

The new systems will allow Fairfields to season and package different flavours at the same time and on the same line.
