Stansted Airport is “proud” to play an active and positive role in the thriving community that surrounds it, an airport boss told local business leaders this week.
Stansted Airport’s business change director, Martin Lyall, told members of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce how Suffolk businesses can tap into its supply chain on a visit to the county this week.
“The airport brings employment, business and travel opportunities to the residents and companies of Suffolk and we want those businesses to work with us to maximise these opportunities and enjoy the benefits a successful international airport brings to the area,” he said.
Chamber operations director Amanda Ankin said: “Stansted Airport, a longstanding Suffolk Chamber member, plays an important part in this county’s and the region’s economic success and it was very interesting to hear from Martin.”
