Caribbean Blinds, based at Sudbury, was launched 30 years ago and is now run by brothers Bradley and Stuart Dantzic, who took over the business from dad, Ray.

They were given factory tours and an in-depth insight into what goes into making the firm’s external shading systems.

Dealers, who enjoyed a champagne barbecue, shared ideas while enjoying a relaxed al fresco experience under one of the many Outdoor Living Pods on display. Among the guests was a leading European design firm which has partnered up with Caribbean.

Marketing co-ordinator Jahed Quddus said: “As soon as our gates where open we were overwhelmed with visitors, all of them keen to check out our new products available to them, especially the award-winning Outdoor Living Pods.

“This was our largest luxury outdoor living product on offer which had them very eager to test it out and take pictures.

“Our factory tours went down really well as our guests where able to get a sneak peek into how our products are made and the attention to detail that goes into each one. Each tour group increased in size throughout the day and all the guest where very intrigued about the whole process.

“The sun, barbecue and drinks created a warm relaxing atmosphere, allowing our guests to socialise and network with each other and our industry experts. It was a very informative and enjoyable day.”

The firm, based at Woodhall Business Park, described the event as “a resounding success”.
