We asked our Suffolk iWitness members to take capture the final week of the summer holidays.
This week’s iWitness challenge was a chance for our iWitness members to capture the final week of the summer holidays before the children went back to school, as the nights become longer and the final harvests are taken from the fields.
Members sent in pictures of anything and everything that show the summer end, from earlier sunsets at Needham Lakes to beautiful heather adding a splash of autumnal colour.
This week’s winner comes from Peter Cutts, who captured a brilliant picture of a final field of harvest with a backdrop of a stunning sunset.
Next week’s iWitness weekly challenge theme is imperfections.
We want our members to look for forgotten places, items that are rusty or broken and old cars or boats that we love despite their imperfections.
To take part, become a Suffolk iWitness member – and you could see your pictures online or in one of our newspapers.
