A Bury St Edmunds man who has admitted being involved in the supply of cannabis has been warned that it is "highly likely" he will be jailed when he is sentenced later this month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday for a plea hearing was 22-year-old Thomas Dykstra of Ansolm Road, Bury St Edmunds.
He admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply on August 4 this year and having an offensive weapon, namely a sword in a private place.
Recorder Paul Garlick adjourned sentence until later this month and warned Dykstra that it was highly likely he would receive an immediate custodial sentence.
He allowed Dykstra’s bail to continue.
