A care home has hosted an arts and crafts fair for residents.

Located in Beccles, Wainford House Care Home said the event wasn't just about creating beautiful pieces.

Instead staff wanted to use the event to spark joy in residents, as well as ignite memories and nurture creativity.

The care home recognises that for many seniors, engaging in art-related activities can potentially stimulate cognitive function and promote emotional well-being.

Led by staff members and volunteers, residents explored different artistic outlets.

These ranged from painting and pottery to knitting and even jewellery making.

Each activity was designed to accommodate different skill levels and interests, ensuring that everyone could participate and express themselves.
