A stretch of the A14 near Newmarket was closed after a heavy goods lorry overturned.
National Highways warned motorists in the area that the westbound carriageway between Cambridge and Newmarket was shut while emergency services work to clear the obstruction.
Police and highways teams were on the scene while waiting for recovery.
National Highways has confirmed the road has now reopened.
The #A14 westbound has now reopened between J36 (#Newmarket) and J35 (#Cambridge) following a collision involving an overturned HGV.
