A much-loved BBC One programme has been filmed in a Suffolk town.

Songs of Praise, which first aired in 1961, was recorded in Framlingham and aired at 1.15pm on Sunday (April 14).

Suffolk-born soprano Laura Wright joined presenter Pam Rhodes in the Suffolk town and reflects on the hymns, worship songs and choral classics that have shaped her life and faith.

During the programme the Framsden-born singer, who attended Framlingham College, visited her old school and reflected on the songs and hymns that meant the most to her.
