An award-winning woodcraft festival is set to return, showcasing artists, free workshops, and street performances.
Weird and Wonderful Wood, an award-winning festival is set to return to Haughley Park on May 11 and 12.
The event showcases talented artists and craftsmen specialising in wood-related works, including instrument makers, designers, and furniture makers.
Attendees can witness live demonstrative sessions such as chainsaw carving, pole lathe, wood turning, and willow weaving, among other craft presentations.
The event also offers free workshops where families can engage in activities like woodcarving, drumming, papermaking, and circus skills.
Visitors can expect top-tier street performances from across the UK and Europe, featuring stilt walkers, jugglers, acrobats, a mechanical dragon and a rarely seen Madame D’Orificio.
The musical line-up includes exciting names like Baghdaddies, Mark Chadwick from the Levellers, the Wilswood Bouys and Swervy World.
Weird and Wonderful Wood aims to provide an inspiring and entertaining family experience for all to enjoy.
