A hearing for a 28-year-old Shotley man accused of causing death by dangerous driving following a collision with a cyclist in Ipswich has been adjourned until next month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday for a case management hearing was James Ashman, of Lower Harlings, Shotley Gate.
He is charged with causing the death of Benjamin Wright, who died at the scene of the collision in Vernon Street in the Suffolk town on the evening of October 13, 2022.
The incident involved a bicycle, a blue Audi S3, a grey Volkswagen Golf and a red Skoda Fabia.
Judge Martyn Levett directed that a further case management hearing should take place on Monday, June 3.
In addition to being charged with causing death by dangerous driving, Ashman faces charges of failing to stop after a road accident and failing to report a road accident.
An inquest into Mr Wright's death had previously been suspended at Suffolk Coroners' Court in Ipswich.
