The weather across Suffolk tomorrow may be looking mixed, but there’s plenty going on across the county to bring some sunshine to your day.

Here are three community fun days taking place on bank holiday Monday to keep the whole family entertained.

Claydon and Barham Community Fun Day

With face painting, a bouncy slide, and live music, they’ll be plenty to keep the family entertained at Claydon and Barham Community Fun Day.

It will be running from 12pm to 4pm at the Recreation Ground on Thornhill Road.

A hog roast will be a new addition to the fair for 2024, but everyone will still be able to enjoy coffee, pizza, and drinks from many local vendors.

Entry to the site is free.

Naughton May Fayre

East Anglian Daily Times:

Naughton’s may event has been running for more than 30 years and is a popular hit among locals.

With stationary engines and vintage motor bikes, the may fair celebrates the village’s history.

Plus with a dog show, tea tent, raffle and performance from Stowmarket Boys Brigade Band, there’s lots to be enjoyed.

It is running from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at Nedging with Naughton Village Hall.

Wetherden Town Lands May Day Fayre

East Anglian Daily Times:

Morris dancers will be a strong highlight of Wetherden’s May Day Fayre.

The Haughley Hoofers will be performing outside The Maypole Pub at 10:30am, with the revived well dressing being unveiled an hour later.

There will also be local crafts and goods including preserves, crocheted gifts, and decorations.

The event starts at 10am.
