A Lavenham gallery is planning to showcase a BBC TV painting show finalist in an upcoming exhibition.
The Ariel Gallery, in Water Street, Lavenham, is hosting an exhibition of distinctive paintings, mixed media works and ceramics by London artist, Laura Jacobs.
With a background in costume design, photography, drawing and painting, Laura qualified for the final of the BBC2 programme, Show Me the Monet and was one of the few winners to sell her artwork at a silent auction at the prestigious Royal College of Art.
Running until July 29, the exhibition has already attracted interest from customers in Lavenham, its surrounding villages, London and beyond.
Ariel Gallery is a contemporary gallery showing Modern British work including paintings, prints and sculpture. Hosting regular exhibitions throughout the year, it is open Tuesday to Saturday 11am – 5pm.
