A celebrity hairdresser visited West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds to give a masterclass to students and answer questions on the industry.
Lee Stafford, a previous winner of Men’s British Hairdresser of the Year, demonstrated a current styling technique and gave trainee hairdressers an insight into how he kicked off his career.
The students listened to his experiences and asked questions, and Lee said it was important to work hard and learn their skills from good people.
He added that much has changed in his 36-year career but he still loved the industry.
The celebrity stylist also said that hairdressing training had to adapt and change for the new millennials, who did not want to learn in the traditional way.
Marnie Randall, hairdressing subject leader, said: “Lee made our students feel valued and respected – they loved the session. It ‘s always good to learn from the best.”
