Drivers urged to take care when driving after police were called to four overturned vehicles across Suffolk

Police responded to three incidents across Suffolk today, April 24, in just over two hours after four cars ended up upside down due to bad weather.

The first incident in Beccles happened at 6pm along the A146 near Barnby involving a single vehicle, a Renault Clio, which ended up on its roof.

The second incident in Stowmarket happened at 7.30pm where police responded to an upsidedown Fiat 500.

The third incident happened at 7.50pm near Brantham where a Ford Fiesta collided into a ditch, closely followed by a second vehicle, a Citroen, which ended up on its roof.

The road between East Bergolt and Brantham was partially blocked as a result of the two vehicles collisions.

It is thought that the two incidents in Brantham are unrelated and no one was seriously injured from the incidents.

Drivers are urged to take extra care and allow extra time when travelling tonight due to the rain and bad weather.
