A team of young entrepreneurs showed artistic flair by using a Suffolk business centre as the location for a short film to advertise their products.

Framlingham Technology Centre welcomed the Young Enterprise team from nearby Thomas Mills High School, who are taking part in a year-long contest with other schools to set up a company, develop a product and market it.

Sales of their tie-dye shirts, socks and bracelets are going well at local events, shops and in school, but an advert was seen as an opportunity to reach a wider marketplace.

The slogan ‘There’s a little tie-dye in everyone’ inspired a storyline about businesspeople with surprising socks.

Sixth-former Emile Burgoyne was behind the camera and a soundtrack is being produced by young colleagues Phelan Burgoyne and Aidan Johnson.

The regional final of the Young Enterprise scheme, which offers experience of the business world, is next month.
