Primary school students have reached new heights after a week dedicated to the best of modern aviation.
Key Stage One pupils at Hardwick Primary School in Bury St Edmunds have been learning about all types of flight during a packed week of activities, which included a homework project to devise their own magnificent flying machines with the help of their parents.
They also enjoyed a trip to Duxford Imperial War Museum, a hot air balloon at the school and visits from a Concorde enthusiast and a United States Air Force flight engineer.
