A MAN whose body was found in Chantry Park by a dog walker, was identified by his fingerprint records, an inquest has been told.
Christopher Thompson died on November 15. An inquest into his death at IP-City, in Bath Street, on Monday, was told the 35-year-old, a former Chantry High School pupil, had facial injuries and a post mortem examination found he died due to an assault. Christopher Wilson, 33, and Deanna Stanton, 26, both of no fixed address, will appear at Ipswich Crown Court in February after being charged with Mr Thompson’s murder.
A 42-year-old man from Ipswich has been bailed until January 8. Suffolk coroner Dr Peter Dean adjourned the inquest until the case goes to Crown Court.
