It is hoped a charity walk in aid of local hospitals will have raised around £2,500.
Walk for Wards, Ipswich Hospital Charity’s first sponsored walk, took place in Felixstowe.
Walkers completed either the full 10k length of the seafront or a family-friendly 5k option.
Participants could also choose which ward or department their money will go to, from Ipswich Hospital, to three local community hospitals at Bluebird Lodge, Felixstowe or Aldeburgh.
Mandy Jordan, head of charity and fundraising with the Ipswich Hospital Charity, said: “Walk for Wards gives people the chance to take part in a fantastic community event and do something amazing to raise funds for the ward or department which is closest to their heart.
“The walk offered fabulous views along one of our county’s most distinctive seafronts, and all walks are suitable for people of all ages and abilities.”
